In this blog I want some attention for something that caught my eye a short while ago. I really like the idea and love what people do for amazing shots. They do this with their heart. You may think it’s awkward, but aren’t the most awkward idea’s the best?

The truth is, the picture shown here above is a cosplay of Link, the main character of ‘The Legend of Zelda’ series. The person who cosplays him is Pikminlink;
If you look at the way the shot is taken, and how the main character is placed in the photo everything seem correct. I envy this cosplayer because it’s one of the most well known, and known by many as also one of the best cosplayers. -Which I will not deny. Seen the costumes.-

Another example here is Alexandre;
A boy from france who makes many outfits of several persons. I envy him because all his outfit’s are extremely nice. His work is amazing and I thought he deserved a spot on this blog aswell. In the photo here on the right he’s dressed as a person from the famous Assassins Creed games.

Now you might wonder why I even write this blog.
To bring in some new idea’s. Give you some new inspiration. Not many are known to this kind of ‘hobby’. While many portraits are ‘old fashioned’ and ‘already done before’. Try to open up for new idea’s. Like search for some people who actually do look like a certain character -In my opinion the two above do-. Work out a great concept and don’t let things stop you. I don’t know if many of my readers are from the Netherlands, but in fact, this lives in the Netherlands aswell. The most crazy idea’s work, while the cosplayers get nice photo’s themselves of their self made outfits. See it like working with other creative people. Because that is what is going on.

Always keeping the brave path can make you tired on some point. Time to work out this great concept and make the costume come alive.

We all know how hard it is to get somewhere. Making millions of photo’s/stories/drawings for only family and friends. Which get tired of checking out every single time your new creations. Then… it’s you in an open world. Everyone want to become famous as soon as possible. We all know how hard this is, nearly impossible. Let people know your name and better, your work.

I decided to feature some promising artist from time to time. If I bump into some amazing work I’ll show you the link to their site. You don’t need to check it out, but if you do, feedback for the person is always nice. We can help each other, and in my opinion that happens not enough.

This time I want to feature a friend of mine from the United States. I think she doesn’t get the credit she deserves. She’s not a photographer, but her stories are well written in a great style.
I want to present to you this time: SeppunZetsumi;

The photo’s and people who are featured here know of this and given their permission.
None of the photo’s here are taken by me, but ofcourse they are all possible to click on, to see a larger version.
Next time a new photography blog again.
